Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a geophysical technique used to non-destructively image subsurface structures and features. By measuring the change of speed in electromagnetic waves as they pass through different materials, GPR overcomes the traditional constraints faced by electromagnetic location to deduce the horizontal (latitude, longitude) and vertical (depth) positions of metal utilities, non-metal utilities, cavities, and various other objects of interest.
